How much sod do I need?
One standard pallet covers ~450–500 sq ft. We add 5–10% for cuts and edges in irregular lawns.
How much seed for overseeding?
Tall fescue overseed: about 4 lbs per 1,000 sq ft. New lawn install: 8 lbs per 1,000 sq ft.
Sod or seed in Central Jersey?
Sod gives instant results and is best for spring or early fall installs. Seed is more economical and works well September through mid-October.
